Privacy notice.
How I use the details you share through this website, in plain English.
Last updated: add date
1. Who I am
This website is run by your full name or business name, a digital marketing consultant based in the UK. For anything about your data, email your email address.
I'm the "controller" of the personal data you share here. If registered with the ICO, add your registration number.
2. What I collect
When you use the contact forms, I collect what you choose to give me:
- your name
- your business name and website, if you add them
- your email address or phone number
- the service you're interested in, and the page you sent it from
I don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't include it in your message.
3. Why I use it
I use your details only to reply to you and, if you want, to discuss working together. My lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering a message you sent me) and, if we agree to work together, taking steps to enter into a contract.
I won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you clearly agree to it.
4. Who sees it
I don't sell your data. A few trusted services help me run this website and reply to you:
- form service: e.g. Formspree
- email provider: e.g. Google Workspace
- website hosting: your host
Some of these may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
5. How long I keep it
If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry after e.g. 12 months. If you become a client, I keep records for as long as UK tax and business rules require.
6. Cookies and fonts
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If you add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other tracking, list it here and ask for consent with a cookie banner before it runs.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask me to:
- give you a copy of your data
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data
- stop or limit how I use it
- object to how I use it
Just email me. I'll reply within one month.
8. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've used your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
